    Hi,

    I just watched the performance of 'Tunnel of Love' at the Grey Whistle and I think I can hear a modulation effect (maybe a phaser or a flanger) on the part between 3:46 and 3:50.

    It's at 3:46 to 3:50 shortly after the 'ola' part, i think I can hear a flanger or sth like that on Mark's guitar sound.

    I guess it's simply a little tape speed variation.

    maybe the guy who put this video on youtube had it on an old VHS (or betamax, or U-matic) from the 80ies !

    it also can be the master tape from BCC which suffer from old age….
