    Hello,

I've got a Shure SM 57 and tried to record the sound of my guitar amp. I placed it directly on my  amp and recorded it with audacity (I used a Line 6 Toneport UX 1 for preamp). I heard an audio signal but it was very quiet and not very fat. So, how can I get a great sound of my amp while recording? Where are the secrets?

    Best wishes
